How to Think and Dream Big

We (or our teams) need to be equipped with SKILLS or STRATEGIES to make them happen.

Being asked to write down what you’d love can feel confronting. Even scary.

Ever been to an offsite strategy day and felt unprepared?

I’ve worked with thousand's of people and teams who wanted more for themselves, their teams and careers - but didn’t know where to start.

So here’s how we get started:

1️⃣ FOCUS on what makes you feel ALIVE. The dream that you are most likely to achieve will light you up (energise you). Align with your values. Cause you to grow and develop as a person.

2️⃣ CONSISTENTLY devote time to building your dream (even alongside a day job). Half an hour a day can create change & Momentumn.

3️⃣ Take ACTION that leads to WISDOM on how to make your dream a REALITY. Ensure you’re on the right track. Explore, be curious, ask questions, seek expert advice. Set goals that are realistic & time bound. Don’t stop.

It’s completely normal & natural to feel resistance to doing something big & bold, especially if this isn’t what habitual.

Common fears when we DREAM BIG:

1️⃣ We DOUBT our abilities

2️⃣ We think its UNREALISTIC. Or people we care about tell us it’s TOO RISKY.

3️⃣ We feel SHORT OF TIME

Don’t let these feelings get in the way of where you want to be.

If you’ve followed me a while you’ll know that I always state ACTION as being the key to get unstuck. And to progress using small consistent steps. This will eventually help you to feel more CONFIDENT. And successful!

Living your dreams isn’t easy. But it’s so worthwhile! If you’re curious to learn more, I offer a comprehensive 12 week course based on defining your dream, and then equipping you with the skills to go after it - and achieve it.

Recently I have worked with:

1. A fragmented team with interpersonal issues who were unmotivated and not meeting targets.

2. A brand partner rediscovering her love for herself and her life after a painful break up.

3. A builder growing his business and his family seeking balance, security and success.

What does a life coach actually help with?

Life coaching helps you identify what may be holding you back and supports you to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and direction.

Coaching can help with overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, confidence, career decisions, boundaries, relationships, motivation, and feeling stuck.

How do I know if life coaching is right for me?

If you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, unfulfilled, stuck in old patterns, or unsure what your next step is, coaching can help you gain clarity and momentum.

Many people come to coaching when they know something needs to change but aren’t sure where to start.

What results can I expect from coaching?

Every person’s journey is different, but clients often experience improved confidence, stronger boundaries, reduced overthinking, clearer goals, better communication, and greater self-belief.

Because the coaching process is highly practical and action-focused, clients often notice increased momentum, improved follow-through, reduced procrastination, and greater consistency in taking action toward the life or leadership goals they want.

Many people also report feeling calmer, more motivated, and more aligned with the life they truly want.

Do you provide accountability between sessions?

Yes. Accountability is one of the biggest reasons coaching creates lasting change. Many clients know what they want to do, but struggle with procrastination, overthinking, perfectionism, or self-doubt.

Coaching provides structure, support, encouragement, and practical accountability to help you follow through on the changes you want to make. Clients also receive personalised session summaries and action steps via email to help maintain focus and momentum between sessions.

What if I’ve already tried everything?

Many clients come to coaching after trying therapy or counselling or self help books/courses to work through challenges on their own. Sometimes what’s missing is objective support, accountability, new strategies, and someone who can help you see your blind spots more clearly.

Coaching is fundamentally future-focused and action-oriented. While we may explore past patterns and limiting beliefs, coaching is designed to help you create practical change moving forward.
